Matthew Howard
CPA/ABV, CVA

Director, Blue & Co

I’m a CPA that works nearly exclusively on dental transactions. Our team works on about 400 a year, as a business valuator in peer-to-peer transactions, as a quality of earnings provider for private equity/DSO transactions both buy side and sell side, as a buyer’s rep to help make sure buyers make educating decisions, and as a consultant on anything else transaction planning or transaction execution related.

Beyond the normal transactional fun that we live and breathe, we also work on some litigious engagements related to marital dissolution / business disputes.

Our firm has about 450 dental clients on the traditional tax and financial oversight vertical, and I also help serve as a specialist to our existing client base.

I’ve been part of 20 or more speaking engagements in the last 5 years. Notable engagements: I’ve spoken on almost of all of Hawaii’s islands, speaking to dentists on the very topic as we are planning to do so. I’m speaking at the Chicago Midwinter here in a couple of months. I’m also talking to the ADA about speaking when they come to Indy in 2027.
